Probably MP3, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2565

Doesn't matter what computer downloaded it, only the file format matters. How do I find out what the file format is, and is there a way to convert it, This is pretty new stuff for me I'm old 70 lol and from another generation.

Thanks for your help, glad I found this site.

BeanMusic files (and all files) have a name and extension, i.e. filename.ext. The extension is what Windows uses to determine what program to open it with.
mp3 files will be "filename.mp3"
wav files will be "filename.wav"
There are many converters, some are free. http://www.majorgeeks.com/Free_CD_to_MP3_Converter_d5428.html

If your CD player is older than about 10 years, it won't play mp3 files. It will only play audio formatted CD's.
