Solve : burning large iso on 4.7 DVD???

hello everyone,

i have a large .iso file (6.5 GB or so) and it is a setup for a game i have,i want to burn it on two 4.7 GB DVDS using nero but i DONT know how ?

any one can help?

This would require some serious customization. You would have to split the ISO into two ISOS moving files around so they fit on two 4.7 discs while somehow make the installer (that was programmed to expect all files on one disc) work on both discs.There are some free utilities that you can find on the internet that are capible of splitting a file into two, however, in your case, this might be slightly difficult, SIMPLE since you are trying to split such a large file.

Essencially, this is how most file splitters work:
The physical contents of the file are split to the ratios you specify (most programs determine the ratio for you by asking you how big you want the file segments to be, in this case, you want around 3.9GB so that there could be room for an installer on one, and extra data on the other). A file (usually a batch file) is created in the destination folder/drive, and it usually has a COPY command that just forces the file into one.
