Solve : Can't enter start up / turn on password??

Answer»

I went into my bios and under start up options(or some SIMILAR TAB) i made it so the on button on the front of the computer does not turn the computer on. I put it so i needed to type a password for the computer to start up / turn on but i can't enter the password. Because the computer won't turn on... and it doesn't work if i just type it. the SCREEN is also black the whole time.Is this your own computer?

(Topic moved to "Other" section from "Microsoft Windows") yes, and just to make clear i can't turn the computer on at all... I'm typing this POST on another computerTry DEFAULT settings by removing the cmos battery for some minutes or swapping the cmos jumper (see your mobo manual for details of the latter).

Good luck thanks for the help it worked
