Answer» I have asked on other forums but never get help so here goes. I have windows XP & cable internet. I got a new fax & INSTALLED it & now when I turn on my computer I have to go thu admin to log on w/PW which takes alot longer. I know I used to turn on my computer & there was my DESKTOP & I just clicked on Int explorer to go to site. There's got to be some way to get it back but I can't figure out how, not a real brain w/computers that's why I love forums like this. :-?Is this what you are looking for http://www.windowsitpro.com/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=24936&DisplayTab=Article ? You can also do that change with TweakUI if I am not mistaken.Thanks alot, I did that & 1st a box came up when I LOGGED on that sd "unable to log on due to a user restriction" but I clicked anyway & could do it. The thing that gets me is I always just started w/my start page not admin & that all changed. It was driving me crazy but I'll just do it that way, don't need my PW anymore anyway. This all seemed to happen after I enstalled the new fax. As you can tell I'm no computer wiz, I can't even get my fav into alph order there's no place to do it, I used to just right click & do it but can't now. But what does your new fax machine have to do with your computer ........? your pc is using a H/S cable connection ....... and your fax machine requires a regular telephone connection ......... What have I missed ? dl65 Again maybe I'm being dense but I did have to put a disc in & download the fax thats why I thought it might have changed something. Everything was fine until I did that.

Pardon me if I ask what may seem to be a odd question ....... But what does your new fax machine have to do with your computer ........?
