I hope someone can help me. My computer is acting up and I have no idea what to do. I have tried several times to restore due to computer freezin and shutting off even the screen goes from clear to dark. I had to re-install most of my software. It won't even let me burn a cd. I ran a DEFRAG and it took over 3 hours and I defrag often. Hope someone can help.

Ronnie in Fl.Scan for viruses, trojans and spyware.more info on operating system...if it winxp boot pc and hit the f8 key and chose last good config...then follow raptors advice...okIf you have DISABLED your system restore latley it wipes out all of your restore points. So you have start all over creating restore points. So it is not POSSIBLE to restore BEYOND the date that you disabled your system restore
