Answer» I have a Toshiba Satellite that I BOUGHT almost a year ago. It has an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6400.
I love it! It's perfect for everything we need but we also have an old desktop and we're looking to replace that but we're trying to do it cheaply.
I found another Toshiba Satellite for $399 that has a AMD Athlon II Dual Core Processor M300. How much SLOWER is this than what I ALREADY have?
It will primarily be used by my 9 year old son and only occasionally by me.
It's this one : http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Toshiba+-+Satellite+Laptop+with+AMD+Athlon%26%23153%3B+II+Dual-Core+Processor+-+Graphite+Gray/9553896.p?id=1218123211002&skuId=9553896
Advice? Is this a good BUY or a good price on a really slow laptop?
Edited to ADD: The processor on my current Satellite Laptop is running at 2 GHz.
Thanks!!
