Answer» When I turn on my laptop, the screen gets messed up...the display sort of shakes and has lines going through it. When it first started it eventually stopped but now I cannot see to use the computer at all.The rest of the computer RUNS FINE though. I'm not sure if this would be a problem with the screen or wires or what it would be? Can you see the screen in safe mode? If you plug in an external monitor, does it work?I never recieved a cd with my computer (for safe mode).I thought I had ONE made but I cannot find it anywhere.I got my computer to turn on so that I can see it, but my screen shook when I first started the computer. I had to tilt my screen back so that it would stop.Now the screen is situated normally and it is visible.....?!Safe mode does not require a disk. you press f8 during boot.
