That is because the ARM people have there own market goals. LYD, what you have bought is a LIMITED computer at a fair price, and your SON will learn a lot from it. If he is going into IT at some point he will need a much more powerful computer, which will cost a lot more. Maybe he can build his own. Even though this netbook is limited, he will probably be using this machine for odds and ends for years to come even after he gets a more powerful machine.
