hello over the years i have downloaded that much crap and i dont know whats what anymore , i WANT to delete everything except what the pc NEEDS to run , only like i say i dont whats what ? i want it to be as if i just bought it home from shop , is this possible ? if so , how ?

thanks adamIf you recieved a set of Recovery CD's with the machine boot to the recovery CD and run setup...
This will take the machine back to Day One status.

NOTE: All your data and apps will be GONE so backup what you need...no i dont have the cd s , is there any thing else i can do thanks You can purchase a retail copy of an OS, boot to that disc, format and install. As mentioned by patio above, be sure to backup all critical data first. Also CHECK your Owners Manual...you may have a hidden Recovery partition which will accomplish the same thing...
Instructions will be on the manuf. site.Quote from: adam74 on APRIL 23, 2011, 06:35:18 AM

Well, if you don't know what something is, then you probably don't need it. Surely, you know whether or not you still use the programs you have installed. If you can't remember the purpose of a program, you can do a Google search on it. its things like postGreSQL 8.3 ?? what the *censored* is that ? ? and comps full of it ??Quote from: adam74 on April 23, 2011, 07:26:14 PM

For things that you have no clue about, such as this, an Internet search (Google, Bing, etc.) can a source of information. For example, http://www.google.com/search?client=opera&rls=en&q=postGreSQL+8.3&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest Use Belarc to post installed software on your PC -> http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
