Solve : Cloaking device may make cell phone static vanish? |
|
Answer» A new light-bending material has brought scientists one step closer to creating a cloaking device that could hide objects from sight. Beyond possible military APPLICATIONS, it also might have a very practical use by making mobile communications clearer, they said on Thursday. LinkWould be INTERESTING if they could create some material that literally cloaks anything its applied too... Albeit, it would be annoying as well. I'll put a scenereo to play... SAY you wanted to play a harmless yet annoying prank on your friend, you walk into the store, you see this "Cloaking car cover", which "Guarantees that no one will see the junk that LITTERS your YARD!". You buy one, throw it over his/her car, this is what happen when he walks out of his house with his friend looking for his car: "Dude, where's my car?" "Wheres your car dude?" It could be played on a smaller, yet equally annoying scale. Like, if you wrapped there cell phone in such a material so that every time it rang it seemed that the sound was coming from thin air. Getting my hands on such a material would be a bad thing for the sanity of many people. |
