Answer» Hey there, I recently started experimenting with hooking up my computer to my TV. I never had the chance or the hardware to do it until the other day and I managed to get everything except the audio to work perfectly for my intentions.
I am going to be doing a short marathon of "scary" games with a few friends watching and WOULD like to know if it is possible to clone the audio in a similar fashion to the video. Currently I can only PLAY audio through the TV or HEADPHONES separately and in order to switch I have to go into Realtek HD Audio Manager and choose a new default device in order to CHANGE it.
Relevant System Specs: Gateway FX SERIES Computer, Windows 7 Home 64-bit, as far as I can tell the sound card is simply Realtek High Definition Audio(it comes with specialized drivers and software to make it emulate a Creative X-Fi sound card), I am unsure of the make of the television but it is a wide screen with HDMI inputs, using a HDMI-HDMI cable with an adapter for HDMI-DVI to connect the TV to my computer since my video card does not support HDMI.
Thanks in advance.
