Or so it seems.
Cool Stuff.Quote
An example is magnetic tunneling junctions in SOON-to-be marketed magnetic random access memory (MRAM),

A month ago it was in it's infancy and likely years away. Well for the average user anyway. I think it is more REALISTIC in BIG COMPUTERS right now. (way out of my league so that might be a dumb statement )

Just think though, one day we will start our computer and immediately be at the desktop. MRAM doesn't "flush" itself when it looses it's powers source. It's all right there when powered back up.Quote

I guess, all those cheating wives, and husbands should start worrying, NOW Amazing how people can think of how to do things like this.Quote

Agreed.

Let's be sure to start another war, soon, so we can drain our time, money, and talent.Great Topic!

I cant wait for a system that is on and ready to go in a FLASH. Probably take 10 years though before it is affordable to us in non-corporate environments to fund posessing such a technology.

Years ago I was hoping that they would have Boot Rom'd Operating Systems to come up instant, maybe that day is FINALLY coming. Solid State Hard Drives are as close as we can get presently for XP, Vista, and 7 in an affordable fast boot form.
