I've also read that a slightly CHEAPER solution is to get a ferrite ring (from Tandy/Radioshack/Maplin) and wrap the audio cable ROUND it a few times. I'm not into electronics so can't exactly explain why this works, but it would be cheaper than a surge protector, so you could try it first.If it has always done this then I suggest to you two things.
