Solve : computer hard shut down? |
|
Answer» Does my computer get damaged if I have to hard shut down. Meaning holding the power BUTTON for about 5 seconds till it shuts down? i believe it powers on but it gets a bunch of reboot errors. It can't be both. Either it won't power on or he reboots. As I said, you need to know the EXACT problem he's facing. I'd bet it's an easy fix. You really can't USE anything posted here in an affidavit unless someone is willing to SIGN one. All you are getting here is opinion. Please remember that some circumstances are going to have to be replicated before you can actually say yes or no.It would entirely depend on what the computer was doing when it was shut down. If it was doing a firmware update, then yes, it definitely damaged some hardware.Quantos technically not damaged but the firmware would be in a corrupted state unable to be updated so the firmware chip would have to be reset or replacedThat's what he said...
