Answer» I was using the computer and all of a sudden it shut off. and now it won't come back on. any idea as to how I can get to work againhave you check all the power plugs...what operating system have you got..does the monitor LIGHT come on?was this in a thunder storm?Were there any smells (burnt plastic/insulation). Are your fans running, PSU (power supply), CPU, case fans, etc. P.S. If you have a power strip/ surge suppressor check it, I got bit on that ONE once. there was no thunderstorm. I use a surge protector and it still works fine. the monitor still works. there was a plastic burnt SMELL.
