Answer» I don't even know what SideBySide is, but it's been popping up in the event logs of a few of the computers at work. Usually happens right after a reboot. The pcs are running very, very slow and never speed up even THOUGH they are newish computers (dual CORE P4 3.2GHz cpu, 2 gb ram, plenty of hdd space). I've checked the services and everything seems alright. Can't be malware because our network isn't connected to the internet and we have Symantec Antivirus on every pc just in case someone brings a virus on a flash drive or floppy (not extremely likely).
If anyone wants to check the EVENTS they are: SOURCE: SideBySide; Event ID: 59 Source: SideBySide; Event ID: 32
thanksThere is a lot of hits on Google about it: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=SideBySide%3B+Event+ID%3A+59&btnG=Google+Searchthe hints from website seem like driver or windows problems.
when you face this problem? after INSTALLING some devices? please remove those software or devices(+ software) to see if this fix your problem?I got it figured out. I had to install vcredist.exe from microsoft. I have no clue why it needed it or why it works, but it seems to be running like it should now and the errors aren't showing up after every reboot. thanksCool...Ya, but apparently this is one of those errors that can have a different fix every time... different causes, too.Don't you like those?
