I was over at a friends house and his old HP just popped on and ten mins. later it turned off....it really freaked me out, like some...ghost or something was trying to...go on the net. He dosen't care about it....but I'm curious why it is doing that. Anyone know? Thanks.BIOS power management setting...
Wake up on modem ring/lan input signal then go to sleep after a set time out.Perhaps there is more haunted computers out there.
