Solve : Cyber Security Course to choose for 6 months training.? |
Answer» Which Security course/training should i opt for in my 6 months training for BE/BTech CSE ? In my present semester, I am developing a security FRAMEWORK on java ee. link:https://github.com/SanjeetSR/Sec... .Next i am planning MS in Cyber Security. I want to learn any cyber security course in my training which will help me in my MS Research. Which cyber course would be the best? I have heard about CHE , comptia security+,OSCP but don't know which is the best or any other? In this video, I have explained the career tips for B.Tech in Computer Science in simple Hindi language.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2fyeshyZHo Maybe it will help. Sorry, i forgot to mention that i was doing BTech in India. I am new to this cyber security field and hence have feeble knowledge of various courses related to the certification of OSCP, comptia security+, CEH(Certified Ethical Hacker) or any other course suitable for me. I want to pursue MS in applied cyber security and hence would love a course that would set up the basics and help me to research in future.CompTIA Security+ would be a good, vendor-neutral start as it's probably the best-known entry level security certification. As regards studying for the certification, I've heard good things about this book - "CompTIA Security+ All-in-One Exam Guide, Fourth Edition (Exam SY0-401)" so I'd probably start with that. I learn best from reading hence the suggestion of a book (with accompanying CD for practice tests), if you're looking for something DIFFERENT such as video training just say I'd probably start by studying towards and hopefully passing the CompTIA Security+, before looking elsewhere for security courses. You may however want to consider at least studying towards the CompTIA Network+ certification too, it's not a requirement but will help give you a foundation on which to build your knowledge of security. Hope this helps! |
