Solve : Dhcp loses lease to IP?

Answer»

I keep getting error messages ünable to find server"in Outlook Express.

Windows error reporting has "DHCP has lost its lease to
it's IP

Is this a computer fault or is the problem with my internet providerAre you using a Router?

Routers are capable of leasing a DHCP adress to clients for whatever amount of time it is set to.

If you have a Router, I suggest you refer to the manual to see how to manage it and check it's settings.Wobbly.......Have you just installed this device ?
Are you ABLE to get online ok and the problems just with your E mail ?   Have you tried rebooting your cable or DSL modem and rebooting you router. Here is something for you to look at.
http://www.brienposey.com/kb/diagnosing_dhcp_problems_with_ipconfig.asp  .....also if you click start .....then RUN .....type cmd and hit enter
now type ipconfig/all
you will see all the ip info and I believe the last TWO ENTRIES refer to lease obtained and lease expired .
look at the dates
