Solve : DOS to Windows communication? |
|
Answer» I am trying to save Data from a PROGRAM in DOS 6 to a windows XP computer. I am CURRENTLY SAVING the files to a Floppy in DOS, transfering the floppy to the windows computer, and then opening them in windows. The problem is that I have to save and open 50-100 files a day on the floppy disk. Is there any way around saving the files to floppy disks? Can DOS save the files to the Windows computer in anyway? Thanks for any help. Quote from: pfister_03 on November 05, 2010, 05:51:14 PM ...1. Is there any way around saving the files to floppy disks?1. No. I assume you save to DOS6 computer hard drive & then COPY to floppy disk? 2. No. It is possible to network a DOS computer but it will require a large effort. Must you open the files from the floppy on the WinXP machine? Can't you copy them over first? |
