Answer» Do you know of a GOOD reputable site that I can download DVD movies and pay per movie? You might check out Netflix.

They have a monthly charge INSTEAD of a per movie charge, but it's not much. None of the movies will be first run, but anything available on DVD should be there.
There's no legal way to get first run movies until they are released on DVD.Thanks, but I was hoping to burn a DVD then play it on my tv. Netflix requires a device to purchase to stream video through to tv.
There are some sites out there, like moviepro.net, that seem reputable but I'm not sure..Services like moviepro.net have taken copy protected DVDs and removed the copy protection. Legally, it's KIND of a gray area. The movie studios, and many copyright lawyers consider sites like that illegal. Others argue that the old fair use laws that were DESIGNED around cassette TAPES and VCR's still apply, as long as copying isn't done for profit and only for personal use.
The courts are going to have to decide which is right.
