Solve : DOWNLOADING EXCEL FILE?

Answer»

I have an EXCEL file that contains first name, last name, physical address, zip code, email address, and phone number.  I need to have it in a word FORMAT: firstname, lastname, email, phone.  Is there a way to convert it to this format without GOING through these several hundred names individually.  I am not very computer literate, so any detailed HELP you can give will be appreciated.File-->Save-As, Save as Type (Choose Text).
Open Word, open text file,
File-->Save-As, Save as Type (Choose Word Document).

Done.MAMA_BEAR58......I'm not sure I understand exactly what your trying to do?   You have a Excel worksheet with 6 columns .......I'm not sure you can just click and convert it to the format you wish ......however how about simply highliting the appropriate columns one at a time then use "copy" and open up a new word page ......then paste the columns in ......do this for each column required and save as word doc...... I just tried it with one of my excel sheets and it works just fine.
Now there may be an easier way to do this .........But the method I described works and will only take a minute or so to do .

Hope this helps you
