Solve : [e-book] Classic Cryptography Systems? |
|
Answer» Is there anyone can help me to find a link or a book that explains the classic cryptography systems. Cryptography prior to the modern age was effectively SYNONYMOUS with encryption, the conversion of information from a readable state to apparent nonsense. The originator of an encrypted message shared the decoding technique NEEDED to recover the original information only with intended recipients, thereby precluding unwanted persons to do the same. Since WORLD War I and the advent of the computer, the methods used to carry out CRYPTOLOGY have become increasingly complex and its application more widespread.- Wikipedia. Early material was part of what we now call Cybernetics. Wikipedia is also nice for lists of things. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Books_on_cryptography A 'Classic' you might have missed is PGP. You can argue about that book being about the subject Here is a link .http://www.pgpi.org/ The International PGP Home Page That helped me more that the other stuff. And this was what I was looking for. P.S. Honestly I have something that has to do with:
So I need more for those aforementioned techniques Thank you Geek-9pm CheersThe PGP thing was developed years ago by non-professionals who had a strong interest in privacy. Their work was so good that it was said to be a violation of national security. I found it easy to read because the work was directed towards just us ordinary people. Yet the concepts very very deep. Search Amazon for books on PGP. Some old used copies are available at very low cost. Like under $10 plus shipping.
