Solve : Eh...Hard Drive help?!? |
Answer» I have an OLD computer and recently I tried to add new HARDWARE to it, I hooked everything up and when I turned it on, it BEEPED, screen went blank, and then "operating system not FOUND" or SOMETHING like that came up.... I've tried puting my windows 2000 boot disk in, didn't work, I interchange all my old and new parts, even my old set up had the same effect. Please hlep! if there is a way!is the hard drive sound?you need four bootdisks for win2k >..http://support.buympc.com/downloads/boot.html also go into the bios and adjust it to setup default mode. What do you mean hard drive sound? I have like three 40 gig hard drives...and I wanted to upgrade my 4 gig to one of them...but when I did, well, see original... Also, it won't go past the operating system not found message? so how can I boot it? blah...so confused... |
