How do I view Email or Webmail pictures that are represented by a small box containing a red "X" in the upper left corner?what is your os, what is your webbrowser and with which program do you read your email, outlouk?My OS is Windows XP. My email is Outlook Express and IE Webmail with YAHOO. Attachments with pictures SHOW just fine on outlook but Not when pasted into the text area by the sender. Nothing can be VIEWED when using the Webmail. The Cache and Temp files have been emptied and the security settings have been changed to all different settings and even disabled with no improvment. Take it from there please.

IWBIn general there are several possible causes:

- the picture/image no longer exists at the URL originally linked to it

- the link is broken, corrupted or changed by the CURRENT viewer APPLICATION

- built-in filtering (firewall, isp, URL host, etc.) is blocking the image

- no internet access when trying to download/view

in addition, there are several ways (scripts, etc.) to intentionally block/prevent an image from being viewed/downloaded
