Answer» all incoming calls are triggering a fax sound. Please helpJust a guess...but i think we're gonna need some more info...All incoming calls on my landline will ring twice than the computer is picking it up as a incoming fax. I have UNINSTALLED my fax machine and unplugged all phone lines connecting the fax. It still HAPPENS. When i pull the phoneline from the computer and call landline it is all good. So i am guessing it has to do with the computer.You MUST be running a modem on that machine...Yes I use a modemThere's the details we were searching for... You need to re-set the modem properties to DISABLE "fax on demand"....I went under phones and modems and cannot find a "fax on demand" prompt to re-set, am I looking in the RIGHT place?
