Solve : Found a HP 48GX calculator?

Answer»

in a box from a deceased friend.....looks like an enormous CALCULATOR, but what does this thing??? Type is 32k/128k only...LOL...is it an antique or can it be used for something usefull???Should still be a good calculator. If you haven't used a HP calculator before, numbers and calculations are entered slightly differently than on most CALCULATORS. HP uses a system called reverse Polish NOTATION to enter numbers. Once you get used to it, it's pretty easy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HP-48_seriesAccording to This you could land a Man on the Moon...BELIEVE it or not, some of the early HP calculators had more computing power than the Apollo missions to the moon had in the space modules.512K on the 1st mission that landed a man there...
PS....that's where the Humor above came from...
