About Google Instant (SERIOUSLY) http://www.google.com/instant/I turned that *censored* thing off RIGHT away.
Google changed to "instant" search mode without even asking me...Personally, I like it.I have mixed feelings on it so far. I usually USE right-click > search or type in my browser search bar so I have only actually seen it in action a few times.

At least it is instant. If it were to lag then that would be a huge problem.I have couple of issues with it...

1. "on the fly" changes bother my eyes.
2. It displays only 10 results, while my regular Google search is set to display 50 results. QUOTE from: Broni on September 12, 2010, 02:17:51 PM

Mine was 100, so I feel that too. Google Suggest is enough for me.

I think both are a waste of time. (But I still think it's great!) I always catch myself waiting for it to finish my query for me instead of typing it in myself, which would be a lot faster. I think it's fun to see what it thinks I'm trying to ask. But YA, definitely a time waster. I see more ad links than ever....a waste.I have absolutely no idea what any of you are talking about. Google looks exactly the same to me as it has for ages. The autocomplete is pretty much the same as it has been.

I certainly don't see search results until after I press enter or click the search button.

(I tried going to google.uk instead of .ca but same story there as well).

Oh wait, I was able to get it to work, I had to go to google.com via the link on the .ca page. (I can't just say google.com in the address bar of course because it will helpfully redirect me to the .ca domain)

It's sort of interesting... not something I would go out of my way to utilize, though, except maybe when I'm not sure what terms to use. That doesn't happen very often, though.

If you don't want to see results as you type, you can turn off Google Instant by clicking the link next to the search box on any search results page, or by visiting your Preferences page.

Where is Google Instant available?

A:
Google Instant is starting to roll-out to users on Google domains in the US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Russia who use the following browsers: Chrome v5/6, Firefox v3, Safari v5 for Mac and Internet Explorer v8.
