Answer» hi peeps, really hope you can help. Im TRYING to do my professional developement portfolio. I purchased a template ( microsoft word) programme which when the pages load up I can fill the blanks in i.e education, previous posts etc.. however when I do that the boxes all go out of shape any everything moves down the page looking messy . I have been told today that I might overcome this by saving the document as a "form", how on earth do I do that, I am not very computer literate so please answer in words of one syllabul . Many thanks for you help.xxWe need more info. Please click HERE. our computer has microsoft windowsxp. Erm, its a dell dimension 3100. The cd I purchased is for word - windows xp. When I load it up on word it comes out as a 62 page document which I can amend in the boxes. But when I write in the boxes if I write too much the boxes go out of alignment moving everything else on the screen See if there is an option to turn on "wordwrap"...hiya, there is no option like that on the disc. When I go to file and "save as" it wont let me do anything like that either. Am stuck :-(. There must be something that I can do to stop the boxes GOING out of shape when I type lots in them???when I go into word, I pressed the top icon that said "help" on the search engine I typed wordwrap and it came up with changing borders etc,. I clicked in on that then it STARTED on about changing cells is this correct? however I cant click on the side of a cell that im typing in and drag it to make it bigger if you know what I mean.Im hopeless :-(ANYBODY?? Sorry, but your template issue is outside my realm of experience. You might try just typing up your own document using the fields in the template as a guide. I know that doesn't solve your problem though. (It's what many of us geeks refer to as a work-around. ) It's alos hard to give you any hints WITHOUT being able to actually see what's happening. Sorry. Hi egodeath, sorry Im not that good on explaining stuff, am pants with computers!!. is there anyway I can download it on here for you to look at??You could try taking screen shots. Press the Print Screen button on your keyboard. This copies the image DISPLAYED on your monitor to the system clipboard. Open Paint, then click File -> Paste. You can save those pictures (preferably in the .jpg format) and post them here.
