Solve : help restarting computer.?

Answer»

I ran a registry program to remove old registered files after REMOVING them I rebooted as told do so.

but when I RESTART the computer it passes the boot menu and comes up with the windows screen the computer reboots its-self.

I have tried to use safe MODE but it comes up with an error windows protection.

So what can I do to start my computer would a start up disk HELP?

What if I reinstalled windows will this wipe my hard drive I don’t want to lose 720 GB of information.

Please help as I am sitting on a chair using a computer in a library crying over what to do.    Did you backup your registry before taking a scalpel to it?

What edit program did you use and did you recognise every registry entry before deleting it?

Which OS are you using?  i have manged to solve this by putting a startup disk in my computer and then runing scandisk and scanreg / restore

*****

but i think it has done something to my computer it always crashes

do you know about the memory code if you are running more than 1024just boot from windows install cd and choose auto-repair option without floppydisk/console
