Answer» So manually means take the BATTERY out?Either that or finding the jumper that belongs to the CMOS.
Remember that not all Motherboards have CMOS jumper. But all of them do have a CMOS battery.Ok IM gona try take out the battery now, for how many seconds, 10?ELEVEN to play it safe.
Do turn off your computer and remove the power cable as well.WOOT! MAN THANKS! The pin that was sticking out wasn't to take out the battery, it was to reset it alone. I thought it helped taking out the battery, but i just hold the pin for 20 seconds and started my comp up. After i did the mem test and i thought i didnt work since it said CMOS Error, but then it said starting with defaults WOOT thanks so much man !
-----should i try a different clock or am i lucky as is? hehA BIOS that isn't functioning properly isn't too uncommon if you change settings and experiment, but you COULD consider yourself lucky that you haven't fried anything YET..
