Solve : Home PC memory prices are Rising / buy soon *?

Answer»

I noticed the price I paid for one (gig) stick of value CORSAIR memory changed 3 weeks after I purchased at Newegg.  I paid like 96.00  and then 3 weeks later noticed it was 113.00.  This link- article explains why.  If you think you should get some more memory for a computer UPGRADE, might WANT to get it soon. theyll changeI won't be needing any ANYTIME soon. I've got three gigs allready.  i hope you wont need any soon... and it was predicted that soon prices per gig would reach $0.80 in hard drives... (BTW: I didnt read the article, I am just lost here) Quote

In a Nut -Shell*  supply vs. demand,  due to increased  pc sales (back-to-school) and lower CPU prices ( newer cpu models coming online)  memory manufacturers have switched over to  digital camera memory-flash cards, etc... and inventory levels for pc  ram has dropped quite a bit. There isn't a whole lot of sticks lying around.
