Solve : How do I put pictures from scanner to Kodak EasyShare??

Answer»

I've been sitting here all evening trying to figure this out.  I can scan a picture but Kodak EasyShare doesn't "accept" from scanner and scanner doesn't indicate I can send it to EasyShare.  Does ANYONE know how to do this?  I'm sure it's probably simple and I'm making it harder than it is.  Any help will be appreciated.
I am seeking the assistance of my in house expert (my wife). She uses easy share. But in the meanwhile see if you can find what you need from here.

The RESULTS are in from my "expert". Your not going to like it. She claims there are NO PROVISIONS with the "Kodak easy share" for the allowance of the importation of scanned pictures from a scanner with that software. She uses "Photoshop" to do it from a scanner. Do you have any version of that program? Undoubtedly there are others that will also do it.Perhaps even some free ones. try a google search on free scanner applications. I would be surprised if your scanner software (unless it is only easy share does not contain software to do that. The thing you seek is pretty basic to the use of a scanner. Not to dampen anyone's spirit here but the EasyShare software is junk...
There are many other Free alternatives out there...you don't have to use their app just because it's a Kodak camera...You might try Picasa, from Google: http://picasa.google.com/I might have figured it out.  When I scanned a picture, it went into My Pictures.  I took it from there and dragged it to EasyShare and it worked.  Then a friend just threw me a glitch, maybe.  She says she has to crop all her scanned pictures because they end up too big (she has old pictures she wanted to PUT on Facebook).  So I'll do some testing and see if I have the same problem.

Thanks all!!!
This is because scanned images are USUALLY saved as a .tiff......they are rather large.Patio, My "expert" agrees with you.truenorth

Thanx.
