Solve : how do you install a sound device??? |

Answer» okay so when i bought my computer,it came with windows 98...and the sound was working great and all..and just recently,about maybe a few weeks or a month ago,i upgraded my computer to windows 2000..and EVERYTIME i try to listen to music, it tells me that my sound device isnt working properly or that i DONT have a sound device..does anyone know how to GET one?..please tell me.or EMAIL me with the information... [email protected] Install sound card drivers. These can be OBTAINED either from the manufacturers website or the CD-ROM/Diskette that came with your sound card. Computer Sound Card Helpwell, i went to their website..and it only states instructions on how to uninstall a sound card to install a third-party sound card..i would try that but..i dont understand the directions.. :-/ sorry im not too familiar with computers.That is not their website, it is a general help page. You will have to obtain the name of the soundcard and use a search machine such as Google to find their webpage.
