Solve : How to open these unreadable images??

Answer»

A friend of MINE was given a CD by the doctor with her X-rays on it - but she can't open them.

Here is a print screen of the folder:

What can I do? What programme can I use to open it? She wants to know if she broke her foot differently to last time.

Thanks!Have her call the Doc and find out how the images were made...

Your SCREENSHOT does not show the file extension...Open the file with notepad or a hex editor. READ the first few characters. Google them. Find out the file type and program used to open it.Isn't there a viewer program on the CD? This is quite usual.

Have you tried to X-Ray them ? ?Quote from: patio on March 28, 2011, 05:25:01 AM

Unfortunately, no. If my memory recalls. as soon as the CD folder showed up there was a folder, then another folder, then another folder than this folder. I copied the items in the last folder and copied them to my external Hard drive

I love you. I only have 1.5 weeks at this centre and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get these images to her before that. THANKSQuote from: Computer_Commando on March 28, 2011, 02:51:57 PM
