|
Answer» With Hyperwords for Firefox you can select any word on any web page and do useful things from the menu that appears: Watch the Demo, learn more from the User Guide or join the discussion in the Hyperwords Lounge, our dicussion forum. Is this your program, or did you just copy text off their SITE?Why write your own when you can just copy it off the site. Yep, just C and P'd. Nothing like the personal touch! Did you install and try it ? ?https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1941 Will give it a shot now.Quote from: patio on September 16, 2008, 05:31:22 PM Did you install and try it ? ? Yep, have it installed and using it.Rather draconian EULA, I was almost tempted to stop the install, but I changed my mind and emailed the extension to my friend in Cuba. I will not be dictated to by dorks. US law has no jurisdiction in my country. Update - I uninstalled it. 1. Without asking, it reactivated the Firefox navigation toolbar which I had explicitly turned off, and installed a big ugly Hyperwords toolbar in it, 2. It doesn't work. I highlight a word, right click, and choose search, Google, and it tells me that there is no active text selected. BYE bye Hyperwords. I have a friend in Cuba. I deliberately emailed the installer to him. I am a British CITIZEN, and US law does not apply here.
