umm 2 days agin i restarted my computer caouse iw as leaving when i got back i tryed to turn my computer on it loaded to were everthing is alright on my computer when it was almost dun loading it restarted i dont now what i did so i went to SAFE mode i unistalled all my games and almost everything and STILL i try to go normal mode but it KEEPS on restarting how do i fix it plzzzzzzz help me Do you have a virus scanner? Is it updated and virus free? Do you have a registry cleaner? To scan for errors?

Do you have acess to a floppy drive?

Safemode doesnt restart on its own? That means a possible virus or a window file must of gone screwy.
If it AUTO restarts and nothing works then its a hardware failureya i did a virus scan and a reg sceaner and adaware and spyware nothing came up i have avg and aviast for anti virus and i have windows xp home edition, sp2, AMD Athlon 64 processer 3400+, 2.40GHz, 512MB ram , i have a floppy drive it dosent restart in safe mode just regulare mode i dont now if a software program is clashing but i dont now

In Control Panel/System/Advanced/Startup and Recovery uncheck re-boot on errors.
This will stop it from restarting on errors and hopefully generate some error messages that will help us narrow down the culprit.

patio. i did that i got a blue screen saying that a aavmkr.sys is bad i dont now i will tell u more in a biti figured it out thank you it was avast i just deleted it and now i am in normal modeOK glad to hear it. Now get to work on that punctuation....
