Ok i keep having problems with computer A few monthes ago my pc just flickred in the middle of when I was using it and most of my files disapered leaving empty sub folders my music files, mp3s, PICTURES. I didnt know why that happend.

Now yesturdya I downloaded a demo game of Gamespot.com CSI 3 demintions of murder. Today I uninstalled the game and I left it whilst i whent on the net the progress bar said unistalling game file number such and such anyway. Then I noticed one of the sites that I regulerly loggon on to i was logged out so i logged back in again and noticed the website in my favourits menue were disapring. So when I looked at at the demo it said Unsitalling temporary internet files. I tried to cancel it but i had to use microsft Task Manager to end the applcation.

So then i noticed that all my files had gone even my desktop was black instead of the usual picture and even my SUBFOLDER had disapered. My brother ran a virus check and CAME up zip.

Any ideas what caused the first problem and how to prevent it or how the demo unintalled my files without using a virus. Is there anyway to get my fiels back?
