Answer» When Microsoft released Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) on Thursday, there were no immediate outcries over missed show-stopper bugs or jammed download servers. LOL TGFFF. thank goodness for firefox I seen that tooo some were over the weekend I was going to ask if it was out of the beta form but appearntly needs fine tuning. So I suppose that I'll hold off on it then.at first i dont have intention to upgrade, then i come across this thread and see someone says it's fixed. hiks it took away 150MB of diskspace, LEAVING me with only 50MB freespace and worse it's BUGGY. dear microsoft, plz fix this asap.Quote from: Reno on March 23, 2009, 10:53:47 AM at first i dont have intention to upgrade, then i come across this thread and see someone says it's fixed. I updated, but my disk space is sitting at about 40GB free of 500.... huh. guess I better delete some old stuff...hopefully you have copies of files. Also check your bin and such just a suggestion.I'll probably not even look at this for another 6 months... Even then it should be only briefly as with all the other versions.hopefully it just dies till then Quote from: squall_01 on March 23, 2009, 11:16:13 AM hopefully you have copies of files. Also check your bin and such just a suggestion. naw, I just gotta go through my downloads folder- I probably have a lot of duplicates and so forth. it's 400GB worth of downloaded cruft. |
