Answer» I am looking to purchase an internal DVD rewriter DRIVE but am a little confused by the interfaces available. IDE EIDE or SCSI. Would a rewriter with a EIDE interface be compatible with an IDE on the motherboard, for instance? Not knowing much on the subject myself I did a little research and through this site you can get the most information: http://www.acc.umu.se/~sagge/scsi_ide/ From what I can tell SCSI requires either a PCI card to attach to, verses ATA/IDE is the STANDARD like with HARD drives RUNNING DMA or Ultra DMA's 33/66/100 bus SPEEDS.
