Answer» I am running Windows vista, ITUNES version 8.2.1.6, and have a 32 GB Ipod touch. When I plug my ipod into the computer, it shows that it is syncing with itunes. However, the Itunes music will not appear on the ipod and the ipod music won't transfer to itunes. Please HELP!!! Have you opened iTunes manually and tried to sync that way?Yes, I just tried that and the same thing happened.Have you synced this Ipod with any other computers?And have you ever used itunes and an ipod before? Do you KNOW how to set it up to sync?I have synced it with a previous computer, but no longer have that computer. Someone else HELPED me get it so it WOULD at least sync, but that is all it will do is 'sync', but not the music.With the ipod connected and itunes open, on the left side of itunes you'll see your device listed. Click on that and a panel should appear at the bottom of itunes. You need to tell it what you want to sync.
