Answer» I'm looking to buy an ipod or mp3 player. Can anyone tell me what is the difference between a flash memory and a hard drive? Some have one, while OTHERS have the other. Just something to keep in mind.And there is ALSO software and audio capabilities. ALTHOUGH I don't have an IPOD, my friend tells me he needs ITunes to put SONGS onto his Ipod but with MP3's, you just need to COPY and paste the song onto the MP3.
