Solve : Issue with running old games on Virtual PC?

Answer»

So, i figured this new trick to make run my old games with virtual PC. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and using Virtual PC 2007 (with installed Windows 3.11). I set the 64 MB of RAM memory reserved for my virtual MACHINE, but when I try to run the game, it says that it doesn't have enough free memory.

Same THING happens on my XP when trying to run another game (same windows, same amount of memory on Virtual PC). Any HELP?  What game.Virtual machine doesn't want to start, or the game itself?
Is this the message?
The virtual machine could not be started because there was not enough memory available on the host.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't DosBox be able to play Windiws 3.1 games? It sure will...Tada! no need for VIrtualBoxD-Fend is even better: http://www.smartestcomputing.us.com/topic/39445-play-dos-games-in-xp-vista-and-windows-7/
It INSTALLS DOSBox and you can get game packs.

Broni, virtual machine starts fine, its the game that won't start

But then there's another problem. When trying to install a windows-based game, I also get that i don't have enough free memory (this time on windows 98 with 128 MB of RAM). Says that it requires 8 MB and that I have only 1

The game is SimTown, just to let u know

Tnx for DOSBox, done the trick Cool Glad I could help
