Everytime I plug my iphone into my computer to sync with iTunes, it shuts iTunes down. Just got it back from geek squad...they couldn't fix it. They ran a diagnostic and found nothing. Upgraded my 1 gb to 2.5 gb...didn't fix the problem. Itunes works fine until I plug in the phone....it had the same reaction even with other iPhones plugged in and used other usb cords.

Does anyone have any SUGGESTIONS for what I should do next, or if I could try something else?

RachelTry reinstalling or updating iTunes. Also try different a USB port and don't use a hub. I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes several times, I've tried different ports and usb cables.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by don't use a hub, but if someone can tell me i'll try it!

You might also want to post your question on the Apple support forum. It's possible someone there has had the same problem.A USB hub is a device that allows many USB devices to be CONNECTED to a single USB port on a HOST computer or another hub.

Basically, don't connect your iPhone to anything else but plug it straight into your computer is what was meant.
