We keep trying to play a downloaded game, download was fine, but the laptop keeps shutting down, assuming it gets too hot, any suggestions, Thanks.Does this only occur when you attempt to run that one game?

SCAN for viruses, trojans and spyware.have a look at the bios options and power options...does it do this when on the battery or mains cabl or playing it via the NET....info PLEASE...Thank you for offering your help......ran all scans, including updates....nothing......this has happened before when playing other online games......so yes, during online play....and both battery and plugged in......I am not familiar with the bios options.....will take a look at power.....not sure what I am looking for, but will certainly look.......we have been able to prolong play by PLACING ice packs in a towel and putting the lap top on top of it, so I guess I can assume that its getting hot........may have to invest in one of those cooling pads......or not allow games played on the laptop........again, I thank you for taking TIME to help me
