Answer» How do you remove wallpaper from a laptop computer? I tried to remove a wallpaper scene from my TOSHIBA Satellite C650 laptop but to no avail. I made a mistake and put Windows XP as my O/S. It should have been Windows 7. This is what I've done to get rid of my wallpaper: I right clicked on a blank area of my screen, selected" Personaltization", clicked" Desktop Backround" at the left side of the screen, clicked"clear All" and than clicked "save changes". After going all that. the wallpaper is still there. TerryOK. Windows 7 is a little different. Please read this page from Microsoft. And if you still have a problem, please come back here. Change your desktop background (wallpaper) The above applies to Windows 7.Is there more than 1 User account on this PC ? ?I'm pretty sure they made wallpaper changing more difficult in Windows 7. With XP, changing a wallpaper is certainly easier than OPENING a browser, searching for computer help, navigating through a forum, registering an account and posting your question.
