1.	Solve : Laptop won't start up?
Answer» My HP Pavilion tx 1000 SEEMS to be completely dead. LIGHTS and fan come on for approx one second, then NOTHING ! Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.Sounds like either the battery or the power SUPPLY is dead.Thanks ADG, but the power supply and spare battery seem to be fine.If you don't mind me asking, how do you know the PSU is good?Don't mind at all. I may be missing something here but the power connection on the side of the LAPTOP glows when connected.
