Solve : Lenovo ideapad 320 with blank hard drive and no screen? |
|
Answer» I recently purchased a broken LENOVO ideapad 320 with no hard drive and a broken screen. I uninstalled the screen and put in a freshly formatted hard drive hoping to install Linux onto the laptop. When I TRIED to get into the bios it wouldn’t display to the monitor I plugged it into. I thought it was trying to display to the screen that’s not there so I’m looking for any help I can get. ThanksEven with no HDD you should still get the BIOS splash screen....it may be more damaged than you think.I’m sure there is a bios it just won’t display on an external monitor.Well it should...read the MANUAL to see if you need to use an F key to switch to external grafix...Does it power up at all? That wasn't entirely clear from what you've described. |
