Solve : Lexmark printer will not shut down?

1.	Solve : Lexmark printer will not shut down?
Answer» using win Xp HOME ,with a Lexmark 1100 printer which will print but does not complete .After printing , it stops at 99% and does not shut off. therefore I cannot uninstall so that I may reinstall. any ideas ? Thanks.unplug it and remove it from the device manager and all the software..then re-install software and PLUG -it back in..Thanks Merlin for your reply; I have been away for three days , I UNPLUGGED both computer and printer before LEAVING , CAME back, plugged everything back in again and everything works as it should .
