Answer» I have a Compaq Laptop that is about 5 yrs old. I just started to get vertical lines halfway up the screen from the bottom. How can I get rid of them?i think that typically means your LCD screen is going bad. Sorry to SAY but if video card is working ok, then the screen might be bad. I was afraid that might be the problem. Now I can tell my WIFE I need a new computer. Thank for the helpBefore you throw out your monitor,try Degaussing your monitor. Should be a butoon or buttons. Rids it of excess magnectic stary FIELDS. |
